Course Description
My name is Melina and today I want to talk about my new Dog Training Methods course.
The way a dog behaves depends on their age, breed (or type), personality and past experiences. Having a well-behaved dog starts with choosing a type and size of dog that suits you, your home and your lifestyle. However, dog behaviour is hugely tied to how you look after them.
Good training makes your dog easier to control, as well as enhances their quality of life and your relationship with them. Reward training can also be a lot of fun for you and your dog!
In this course you will find lessons about:
- Dog Training Methods.
- Leave the Station: An Unruly Passenger.
- Stay on Track: Focus on Positive Reinforcement.
- The Caboose: Coupling Behavior Training Concepts.
- How to interpret dog behavior?
- The five to thrive framework.
- How dogs communicate.
- Dog live by instinct.
- Seven dog behaviour problems explained.
- How to educate your puppy?
and more.
To start off on the right foot (and paw!) with your pup, they’ll need to know what you expect. This will make them feel secure in their ability to meet the goals laid out going forward.
The foundation of training should be based on positive reinforcement. Positive reinforcement is the process of giving a dog (or person!) a reward to encourage the behavior you want, like getting a paycheck for going to work. The idea is not to bribe with the behavior but to train it using something your dog values.
So do not hesitate – gain gold skills in training your Pet.
