Course Requirements
Curiosity and an open mind! No prior knowledge of body language is required. Just come ready to observe, learn, and practice the skills that will transform how you interact with the world.
Course Description
Body language is something not a lot of people pay attention to, but it’s an extremely powerful form of communication – it’s subtle and it says everything without the need to use words.
This course will teach you how to interpret the most subtle messages, such as a tilt of the head or a shift in posture, and reveal hidden emotions and intentions. We’re going to do this by understanding the science and biology that goes into nonverbal communication and how our minds process these signals.
Aside from reading others, this course will help you understand yourself as well, by gaining awareness of the nonverbal signals you’re sending out. This will help you modify your body language in a manner that allows you to communicate what you want to, and to project confidence and build stronger bonds with people. This is especially useful in professional settings, where you want to appear assertive and confident, as well as in your interactions with the people you love, where you want to make sure your body language makes them feel comfortable and close to you.
By the time you finish this course, we hope that you will be able to read between the lines and interpret implicit messages, and have an appreciation for this unspoken language that exists in every interaction we have. You’ll be able to communicate clearly without giving off mixed signals and leave the impression you intend to on the people you encounter.
