Course Instructors

Nisal Periyapperuma – Co-Founder & CTO at Team Watchdog

Nisal is a rogue SaaS engineer with a background in economics. He co-founded Paladin Analytics and Rooster, growing multiple tech teams from one-person operations into enterprise SaaS companies. He designs and manages much of Watchdog’s tech infrastructure, including moonshots.

Nadim Majeed – Former Associate Editor and Producer at Team Watchdog

Before joining Team Watchdog as an Associate Editor and Producer of The Doghouse podcast, Nadim wore multiple hats including as a News Anchor and Executive Producer for News 1st and as Advocacy Consultant at Transparency International Sri Lanka. Nadim has over a decade of experience in broadcast journalism covering politics and socio-economic issues, and has designed and implemented public advocacy campaigns on a number of governance and anti- corruption issues. He is currently an independent contractor with the International Republican Institute, training emerging politicians in campaign communications best practices, and sits on the Boards of the Coalition for Inclusive Impact (CII) and the Institute for Democratic Reforms and Electoral Studies (IRES).
