**Note that although this course was originally designed for Windows Server 2016, the fundamental principles remain the same even with newer operating systems such as Windows Server 2019 and the recently released Windows Server 2022**

Active Directory has been around since Windows 2000 and is the largely the same for anything above this, i.e. Windows Server 2016
