Course Description
Nick and Michael, co-chairmen of GRC, a global nonprofit founded in 2016 at the University of Pennsylvania, discuss the organization’s mission to support social impact leaders through consulting and research. GRC has grown to over 1000 members worldwide, with a structure including a board of directors, a global management team, branch presidents, and consultant teams. The training module covers client engagements, teamwork, project management, and data analysis. A typical GRC case lasts 10-14 weeks, emphasizing planning, coordination, and impact. GRC values giving back, community, and lifelong learning, and encourages members to utilize resources and stay engaged.
GRC Group (Global Research & Consulting) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with over 1000 active students from various cultural and academic backgrounds who collaborate with NGOs, NPOs, charities, and startups worldwide to complete pro-bono consulting and research projects. Our collaboration develops well-informed and impactful insights and solutions, empowering global-minded future leaders. We aim to connect a diverse group of remarkable students, united by a passion for creating global impact, and provide opportunities to develop their research and consulting skills and harness cross-cultural awareness. At GRC Group, we emphasize the importance of using interdisciplinary research to understand and inform innovations in the private, public, and social sectors. We seek the latest information on macroeconomic trends, cultural context, industry best practices, and champion impactful initiatives globally.
