Learn Water Treatment and Distribution Certification Math for Grades 1 and 2. This course is also relevant to Wastewater Operator Certification Math. Be prepared when walking into your certification exam. This 2 hour course contains 21 questions covering topics you may encounter on your exam. The topics covered are surface area, volume, pressure, flow, detention time, chemical dosage calculations, and velocity. This course is slow paced and detailed, working problems from start to finish. If your interested in becoming a certified water treatment or distribution operator this course is a great start to understanding questions you may run into on an exam. The course content is 21 individual lectures. Each lecture covering a topic. The questions are written and easy to read. Most questions include a visual representation of the problem and also a formula that is provided when taking a certification exam. Courses use to be offered only twice a year but are now are readily available at testing centers to complete at your own convenience. Scratch paper is provided and you are also provided a calculator. Exams do have a time constraint. The exam is divided into three sections. There is a true/false section, a multiple choice section, and a math section. This course focuses on the math section. The math section is a multiple choice answer format. This is to your advantage because you are able to check your answer against the four or five possible answers. If your answer is there, great! If there is one that is close, maybe a simple rounding error, awesome! If none of the answers are even close to yours, then you know that it is best to rework the problem till you find an answer that is yours or close to it.
